I have a hp pavilion 15 gaming laptop with Intel 6700hq quad core processor and Intel hd 530 gpu, my current ram is 8gb ddr3.
I want the increase the shared memory of my GPU beyond 1024mb

If you can go into the Bios, look for a setting called graphics memory allocation or something similar and increase the value there. Try to set in to 2048Mb or Max.
