Would like to know if my setup right now does support GTX980 TI or do i need to swap something out?
CPU: i5-3570K @ 3,40GHz (4CPUs), OC @ 4,5 GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H
RAM: 8GB DDR 3
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7900 (which i want to swap out)
PSU: Corsaire GS600

PS: I haven't chosen an exact 980 Ti model yet.
Here are the models that are for sale in my country http://www.hinnavaatlus.ee/products/Arvutikomponendid/Videokaardid/?search=0070283dc59ec6cd48b7d446f5f6764d
+ From a another vendor in my country
Gainward GeForce GTX 980 Ti Phoenix GS 6GB (€ 659)
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti WindForce 3X OC 6GB (€ 675)
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti Xtreme Gaming, WindForce 3X 6GB (€ 699)
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti Xtreme Gaming OC Waterforce 6GB (€ 789)
ASUS GeForce GTX 980 Ti 20th Gold Edition 6GB (€ 949)

Pudget €800 for the GPU may change if i need to swap something out
Rigs Main goal would be Witcher 3 Max settings Hairworks on 60+fps

Feel free to suggest something else if it meets my needs.

EVGA's 980 ti Hybrid will go faster if you overclock it, and it will be just about as fast as Zotac's AMP! Edition right out of the box. Below is a link to a full review that compares all of the top 980 ti cards, and the Hybrib comes out on top when overclocked. But if you aren't going to do any overclocking, then the AMP! by Zotac is the best card out for that use case.

That might be the coolest, but the Zotac card is fast...

The EVGA card is watercooled, which allows for way more overclocking, how about comparing the 980ti ssc to the Zotac card?

That's on the graph too. But I don't think it would be very different. The limitation isn't heat. It's Nvidia's power cap. The aftermarket coolers can all keep the heat under control on OCed 980 ti cards.

It can with HairWorks off. It's a highly inneficient tech that doesn't visually add enough to justify the performance hit without SLI.

Yes you can definitely overclock with your setup, the 980 ti hybrid will give the best cooling and best potential overclocks since you wont have it downclocking due to heat. Although its quite a bit more expensive than a regular 980 ti. Imo a regular 980 ti will overclock like a beast and still be able to keep cool, so you might as well save a little money and grab a regular one. But if you're going balls to the wall the go for the hybrid!

For a budget 1440p monitor id suggest the acer g257hu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009728

4ms response, ips, displayport. and cheap too!

If you're going to try for the best gaming setup, I'd suggest prioritizing a monitor over the GPU. Getting a nice Gsync monitor will allow you to get less than 60 fps (i.e. 45-60) and still be as smooth as a flat 60 is on a standard display. Plus displays stick around a lot longer than GPUs, which get refreshed every year. These 900-series cards have been out for a while now, and I think that getting a really good monitor to hold you over until Pascal could be worth considering.

pascal i think is scheduled for q2 of 2016, so in the summer. And there is speculation that the 980 ti pascal equivalent the 1080 ti or whatnot should be around twice as fast while at the same price the 980 ti is now

Alright that sounds awesome, i guess the best thing is to wait it out then. The same price and double the power seams enough for me wait a little longer.
And since i'm gonna wait it out what would be recommended 1440p monitor be or the "best".
Hypothetically since pascal would be double the power should i go for 4k monitor instead? or is it still early for 4k - if i wont get 60+fps its not gonna be worth it to me.

This are 1440p monitors that are for sale in my country, if anyone in interested to help me with the monitor search i could potentially translate if need be, but it should be easy to figure out.

I think it will be out within about three (3) months, but I wouldn't speculate - or rely on speculation - too much at this point. People thought that Maxwell (the current chip tech in the 900-series cards) would be twice as fast as Kepler - the previous tech - from the get go. But when Maxwell first came out with the 980 and 970, the cards were actually just about the same speed as the 780 and 780 ti that had already been out for more than a year. I'd guess that the first Pascal chips might not be the fastest Pascal chips, since Nvidia never puts the best chip out first under a certain tech name. That said, I would not be surprised to find out that the first round of Pascal chips are at least a bit faster than Maxwell, even if not twice as fast.

[EDIT Re: Monitors - Acer makes the gold standard gaming monitor right now. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B016GNX4SE/ref=psdc_1292115011_t1_B0111MRT90

And ASUS is going to come out with a similar one soon. http://www.overclock.net/t/1558463/pcper-asus-3800r-34-ultrawide-3440x1440-ips-21-9-curved-g-sync-monitor]

Well holy hell that price tag, it costs more then the 980Ti..
Edit: Is there a budget version for similar product ?

Yeah, that's the top of the market. The reason is the resolution (3440x1440), which is "Ultrawide Quad High Definition" (UWQHD), the frame pacing technology (G-Sync), the panel technology (IPS), and the refresh rate (100 Hz). It's about as good as it gets right now, and even though it's considered a "gaming" monitor, you can use it for just about any task perfectly. If you want to same money, just get as many of those features in another monitor as you can afford. I'd say it may even be possible to get all of them except the resolution for a much more reasonable price.

But yes, monitors are more expensive than GPUs. I think it's because they are more important. It's what you use to experience things, and the entire machine revolves around driving the display anyway. Makes sense to have a good display.
