I have an i5 4690k at stock speed with turbo mode enabled and a Hyper 212 Evo on it. Idle temps are between 32 to 37 degrees but all temps get high and drop abruptly and when I play games they reach 65 degrees. I believe that this is extremelly weird since 212 is meant for good overclocking performance. The thermal paste is applied based on the pea-size method. I have one fan on the cooler that is pushing air towards an exhaust fan at the rear top of my case. My PSU is also on the top of the case just a bit higher from the CPU. Is there any way I can get normal temps?

My GPU is the Gigabyte GTX 970 Windforce 3X OC with its stock cooler. Ambient room temps are at about 24 degrees. I've mounted the screws as tight as possible. The only thing that might contribute to this issue and that I've been thinking of all this time is the fact that I've used different screws to mount the mobo on the case instead of the ones that came with the case. I've actually lost the original ones :p It seems to be seated pretty well, though. My case is the Apex Vortex 3620 case, by the way. I'll probably post some pictures of it, as well, but, still, any further help would be rather appreciated.

Thank you all for the quick replies.
