Horrible performance on a beast PC (GAMING)

Solution
A lot of games will go slow if you crank everything up at that resolution. But it might be drivers. Best to just clean them out and replace to rule out all driver issues. Below is the download link to Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). Click to start the download automatically. Install and let it take you to safe mode. Uninstall drivers and restart.

Then install the newest Nvidia drivers from the link below.

Restart and give it a shot.

I highly advice people to read this with this horrible issue that is a super easy fix... I am really stupid...

Simple Answer: Make sure you have the right power cables in your power supply, GPU.

Below is more detailed!

Anyways, the problem I was having is that I had my 8 pin PCIE connecter in my sata port on my power supply, stupid mistake... I then unplugged it, and switched it to PCIE. In CSGO, on all high settings I went from ~80 fps to ~300 fps on 2560x1440 144hz with a 980 strix and an i7 4790k
