This is my first attempt at building my own PC (please be gentle) and wanted some advice regarding the components I was thinking about including. My general requirements are to keep the price under $2000 and have something I can game on reasonably for the next 3-4 years.

Any advice is appreciated!

Build at PCPartPicker: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wtTDBm

CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K 3.3GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard: MSI X99A SLI PLUS ATX LGA2011-3
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4-3000
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Western Digital BLACK SERIES 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video: 2x MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card(2-Way SLI)
Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Rosewill Capstone 750W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive: Asus BW-16D1HT Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer
Operating System: Windows 10

At current pricing, that is just under the $2000 mark...

Are there any parts should sub out?
Is there anything I am missing?
Also, every computer I have ever purchased has had a separate sound card. Is there any reason to add a sound blaster card to this build, or is the onboard one on the MSI motherboard sufficient?

Thanks in advance!

You should go with the AMD option for graphics. Crossfire is a lot more efficient than SLI, so a pair of 390s would be better. You might want a better PSU. And you are fine without a soundcard, motherboard sound is pretty good especially on the high end ones.

first of all if ur only gaming not video editing streaming I suggest u get the I5 6600k with the noctua nh d15 cooler... and a Asus Z170-A mobo to go with that..
in games u won't see a huge difference so suggest u get the I5 6600K.. and then ddr4 ram ofcourse it's good to go with 16gb ... save some money by going for a lower speed like 2400 cuz speed doesn't effect game play.. and useless to go with 2x 970 it's same in price and performance to a 980ti... so get a 980ti...
