Hi,

I've got an ASUS x99-S motherboard with the latest BIOS (2101) but in the Onboard Devices Configuration screen of the BIOS I do not have either the option for the ASMedia USB 3.0 Controller, or the option for ASMedia USB 3.0 Battery Charging Support which are shown in the user guide.

I unticked the box in device manager for the USB Root Hubs to 'Allow the to computer to turn off this device'. My mouse does continue to charge while the PC is shut down, but I wanted to enable the battery charging to charge my phone (iPhone 6 plus) with the machine shut down, and that's not working.

Any idea why I don't see the ASMedia options in the BIOS?

I don't see it either, but my USB 3.0 ports seem to work fine with the generic superspeed drivers. I couldn't really figure this out either.

From reading on the web, it seems this option was in the earlier BIOS versions.

P.S. I noticed you post this on OCUK as well :p

The ports work, but I'd like to enable the setting where they work (or at least one that I select) works with the computer switched off, which I was led to believe is a setting that can be enabled with the ASMedia BIOS option
