I'm planning to attach a good config cpu(Fx 8350 with gtx 750 Ti) with my Lg 42' Led tv. However i am very scared cause i have heard about something known as "Input lag". (cause i will be playing wirelessly with my keyboard).

Also not sure if things will be full screen or not since my Tv is 42 inch. Can i have the same clearity as of a monitor? Mine is a Lg 42" Full Hd 3d tv.

Solution

yea 6300/8320 and 960 will be good for most games at 40fps if not more fps depending on games, settings and resolution
i've used a tv as a monitor for years.

will it be full resolution? yes. sometimes you may need to underscan/overscan but you can run any tv resolution.

will it be the same clarity? no. the screen is larger at the same resolution which means the pixels will be larger. if you sit closer to the tv so it appears bigger in your vision than no, it will not be as clear but will be larger and more immersive.

but what about input lag? generally not a problem on most tvs and for most people but it is true that tvs have slower response than some monitors. if such things bother you (guessing not since wireless keyboards have slight delay as well) then you could just use a tn panel monitor instead.

no harm in trying it out to see if you like gaming on a big screen. it does take a bit to get used to and is overwhelming at first.

depends on the game if its a cpu heavy game like an MMO yes.
but usually AAA games are way more taxing on GPU
