Alternative to running long Ethernet cable/wifi for playing Multiplayer online games

Hello

I've been playing a lot of online multiplayer games using USB wireless adapter on my PC.
I'm unable to play using an Ethernet cable because the router is placed in a different room.
I am having a lot issues with ping when I play on wifi. So is there any alternative to running a long Ethernet cable between two rooms?

I'd fish an ethernet cable.

You can fish it under carpet as long as it's just foot traffic you're fine.
You can tuck it along the carpet moulding on the edge of the carpet, there is almost always enough room to poke a cable down into the pocket.
You can fish it up or down through a wall, through the attic or crawl space and into your room, add a wall plate and it's professional looking, that's what I did in my house.
