Looking for a CPU Cooler for a new build and I have no idea what I'm doing.

So I'm upgrading my computer. Already have a GTX 970 in my current system but the rest of the components are pretty dated and have been through a fair bit of stress after a cross country move a few years ago sooo I'm thinking it's time to replace everything else.

I was looking at this bundle.

Everything looks great, it's more than affordable for me but there's just one problem. The CPU does not come with a CPU Cooler which is news to me.

I've never bought and after market cooler so I have no idea what I'm looking for here besides something that matches socket. LGA 1151.

One of the big concerns I have is the coolers size. A friend of mine showed me his obscenely huge fan and said that because of the size of his fan he needed to get low profile RAM. I just want to pick up this bundle and not have to worry about things like that.

I've also seen in some places that Skylake Processors bend under the weight of some coolers. Not sure how much weight to give those stories.

I'm not planning on over clocking so I don't need anything extreme but I do a lot of gaming. Looking at games like Star Citizen, Cyberpunk 2077 in the future with this upgrade. But the cooler situation is more or less holding everything back.

TL;DR: What coolers should I be looking at?
