Hi guys, I built a new PC with the following specs

Motherboard: ASRock Z170 Extreme6

CPU: Intel i5-6600k

Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB DDR4 2133 (F4-2133C15D-16GVR)

SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB (MZ-75E250B/AM)

HDD: WD Blue 1TB (WD10EZEX)

Video Card: Powercolor PCS+ Radeon R9 390 (F4-2133C15D-16GVR)

Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Mid Tower

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO with Arctic Silver 5 paste

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2 (220-G2-0850-XR )

Symptoms: I'm trying to install Windows 10 (via USB drive) and the build will simply not POST. Connected to a Samsung SyncMaster through DVI, there is nothing on the display, save for a flashing of ANALOG/DIGITAL, which means it's searching for a signal. The fans turn on all the devices, but on the motherboard's Dr. Debug tool, it spits out code 53, which in the manual, says this.

Problem related to memory. Please re-install the CPU and
memory then clear CMOS. If the problem still exists, please
install only one memory module or try using other memory
modules.

I was just wondering if anyone has similar problems with this particular motherboard. I didn't inspect the CPU to see if any pins were bent (as the CPU cooler I find was annoying to install) but I can't imagine any were, and I did shift the RAM around and clear the CMOS but have yet to try it with just one stick. This is my first PC build and it would be really stink if I have received a defective mobo, although If that is the case I will RMA it.

Yeah, I tried switching the RAM around (after following the guide) and trying to boot without any RAM at all, and it still gave me the code. Then I re-installed the CPU (and checked to whether it had any bent pins or other malformations, which it did not.) In fact, it appears that the particular i5-6500k I have doesn't really have "pins" per se, but rather flat contact points. Don't know if all 1151 chips look like that, but altogether this reeks of faulty motherboard. I'll send it back to ASRock.

Thanks guys.
