I've heard that Skylake processors have problems with bending/warping due to extra weight from aftermarket CPU coolers. I'm thinking of upgrading to an i5 6500, and transferring my 212 EVO over to it. Will it bend?
No, when you install it make sure you screw it in diagonally and rotate applying the same amount of pressure to each screw. Also, not sure why you even need an aftermarket cooler, you have a locked cpu, the stock cooler will work just fine.

Alright, thanks!
I had the aftermarket cooler for my previous CPU (FX-4350), because the bearings went out on the stock one.
