Installing 3rd Ram on Gigabyte GA-G41M-Combo

Hi,
I'm using an old pc and planning to upgrade my RAM.. my mobo is gigabyte GA-G41M-Combo and my current Ram is V-Gen DDR3 4gb (2x2gb). I just got a kingston 8gb hyperX Fury DDR3 from my brother, but when i install it, my pc wont start. Any solution would really help.

That board only supports a maximum of 8Gb across both memory slots (4Gb per slot).
8Gb in one slot is therefore not supported.
