Although I have a required 'Password' for Guest Access - I cannot find any where that I can "secure" this connection. Is this possible and if so HOW? (not sure how to hide the SSID for guest and WPA shows in Admin Access but not option offered for guest - as mentioned in 2011 comment)

I'm pretty sure you can disable the Guest access. Just look up in the router settings. I guess you know how to change settings in the router, right? If there is no option, you might want to update the firmware of your router.

Thank you - as my knowledge is just enough to be dangerous -
The only option that shows for the SSID is to "enable" or "disable".

I do have a separate password for "guest access" - but when someone accesses with the usage of password - it indicates "Unsecured" - therefore assuming that network is accessable to hackers.

My Admin password is WPA2/WPA

Judging from what I have found online so far - it appears my only option is to disable "Guest Access" and give them my Admin main Password?

There are three passwords that apply: Admin password. This is what you type in when you go to 192.168.1.1 or a similar address, and lets you change settings. Don't share it with anyone, even people who need to access your network.

WPA2 password for your main network. Give this to people you trust well enough to let them access your network and anything shared on it. Probably household devices only. This is not an admin password.

Password for the guest network. Give to anyone you want to have internet access. Could be WPA/WPA2, or it could be a captive portal.

Can you post a screenshot (feel free to blank out anything personal like network names) of the 'unsecured' message and where you enter the password.
