Need to transfer priceless files from high-density 1.2Mb 5.25-inch and 1.44Mb 3.5-inch floppies to a CD or a DVD.

I either need a.) the service from a reputable company or b.) to buy a complete pre-owned PC System from a reliable dealer or reliable individual.

If I need to buy a complete, fully functional, good pre-owned old technology PC System I require one or more of the following minimum components:

One Case
One Computer Motherboard
One Central Processing Unit onboard (CPU - 386 to P5)
One or more Hard Drive(s) (30Mb or greater)
One Floppy Drive (High-Density 1.2Mb 5.25-inch)
One Floppy Drive (High-Density 1.44Mb 3.5-inch)
One Serial Port
One Parallel Port
Two or more USB2 or USB3 Ports
RAM (as much as fits on the motherboard – preferred: DIMMs)
One Sound Card
One floppy/HD controller card if not included on motherboard
One Monitor (Hi-Resolution VGA or EGA Color)
One Color Graphic card
One Modem or One Network Interface Card (NIC)
Two Stereo Speakers (with cables, On/Off, & Volume knobs)
One Keyboard (78- 84-, 101-, to 104-key)
One Mouse (two or three button)
Cables (all required for power, disk drive controller card, etc.)

Thank you for reading this far and I hope to hear from you soon…

Best regards,
David G.

You can also purchase a "external 5.25 scsi floppy drive" on eBay and connect to any PC with an appropriate SCSI adapter.

You don't need a complete system built to transfer these files. The 3.5 diskettes are easy as helpstar indicated. Just get a USB floppy drive. The 5.25s will be a little harder.

For example:
