I know some of you are laughing, saying "OC? that is basic for gamers" well i'm not an expert when it comes to it. So I have an FX 6300 at stock clock 3.5ghz and i want to push it to aleast 3.9ghz. my question is HOW??? I have no experience on OCing. and What budget CPU fan is perfect for this? Thank You!

Mobo Is MSI 970 gaming and the other rig has Gigabyte 970 Gaming Mobo.

Solution
The obvious CPU fan choice is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, though there are lots of other good options.

Do a google search for OCing a FX6300... but also beware that your other components may limit your overclock ie you need to have a PSU that's up to it, good RAM etc etc

snowctrl gave you good advice on a Cooler. The following youtube gives some reasonable advice for overclocking

Some googling will go a long way to relatively safe overclocks(remember, overclocking has inherent risks of damaging components). In particular, familiarize yourself with voltages and temps which are considered safe for your CPU. Also, overclocks will occasionally lead to a system that won't post, learn how to Clear the CMOS to reset everything back to defaults.

- Download AMD OverDrive (AOD)
- Take manual control of your VCore and disable Turbo
- Under the Clock/Voltage tab in AOD you may bump your CPU multiplier
- You may adjust your VCore in +/- 0.0125v increments

Run the Stability Test in AOD
Use the CPU Status tab to monitor your 'Thermal Margin'

If you keep your volts down, you can hit 3.8- to 3.9GHz with the stock AMD 95w aluminum cooler (with Turbo disabled!) ---- with fancy aftermarket cooling you should have no issues running 4.4GHz or more
