Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: this week (the closer the better)

Budget Range: 2500 AUD

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Studying>League of legends/WoW>New release games>web surfing

Are you buying a monitor: Have a monitor

Parts to Upgrade: possible build below (if you have a better build, please educate me haha)

Do you need to buy OS: Yes, prefer windows 10

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: no preference, new to this, whatever you think is best :)

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Bundaberg, QLD, Australia.

Parts Preferences: no real preference.

Overclocking: Maybe, if its simple enough to do, if the option is there i'd be happy to google some guides on my own

SLI or Crossfire: no idea what this is, sorry :(

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: the build below is what i was looking at, however i'm not sure if i NEED the two graphics cards, i would like a full system (including postage) to be under the $2500 mark (Australian dollars) as that was my budget range

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: upgrading due to my previous computer losing a fight with an open can of rum&coke :'(

Also, thanks in advance for any help, it is very appreciated

yours sincerely, computer spastic 101.

I agree with Gingerbread, for the MOBO take something that has what you need, not a bunch of stuff you will never use. Graphics cards is better to get only one of a higher tear. Just for you to know SLI is the config you need to use mutiple Nvida cards. If you think you will want to upgrade to a second video card IN THE FUTURE, you should buy a mother board that supports SLI.

Four sure get an SSD, booting speed and the programs you drop there run amazingly fast, i would totally recomend that. Also think if you really need 3TBs of storage it seems a lot!

In general i would say taht for the first two of your concerns (studyng and LoL) the system is a total overkill. For gaming it will be really nice.
First, gaming m7 is useless, m3 and m5 are more than enough. Second Why WD Red? Better get 250GB SSD for OS and stuff and 1-2TB WD Blue. Power Supply can't handle 2x gtx 970. And 2x 970 is bad for a new computer, better get a single gtx 980ti, this way you can use that PSU, but still better change it with a G2 or GS series by evga. If you are going for liquid go for Kraken x61 or corsair h100i, else just get a normal air cooler which will rock your world.

Single faster GPU > SLI weaker GPU, always. Also, do you really need that 3TBs of storage? If not, you can drop it and add an SSD for faster booting, loading, etc.

I've read through the replies, thank you all for your input, i have come up with a build that would suit me a little better according to suggestions, i have thrown in an SSD card to put my OS and a few games on for booting, the 4tb HDD is a must unfortunately. I was however curious if anybody would be able to find a way to make the build a little cheaper while maintaining the same/around the same performance, pc partpicker also confirmed the parts are compatible :)

No problem!!

Do you think you will be overclocking? if not the CPU water cooling is not at all necessary! if it is for the looks then go ahead, but they are generally speaking louder, at least that's whay i have read online. You can even overclock pretty decently with air cooling. IF you wont be overclocking i would defently go for a cooler master 212 evo: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rr212e20pkr2 looks nice and works well. that gets you 50 bucks.

And again, i think the MOBO is too much. I'm not an expert here so i can't recommend you anything but i think you could get away with something cheeper. Maybe the m3 or m5 as L33t said

Last advice, i would step up to a 970 everybody says its the sweetspot right now!
