Hello everyone.
This very week i decided to buy some new setup for my computer. Im pretty newbish at this
computer stuff so i had my friend do some research for me and i bought new RAM and a new
GPU.

RAM: HyperX Fury DDR3 1866MHz 16GB (2x8GB)
GPU: 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970

the grapic card works fine in my rather old computer but when i plug the two new RAM in my motherboard and i turn on my computer, it simply turns off after 3 seconds and reboots again. It keeps doing this until i unplug the PSU. But when i put in my old RAM (4,00GB Single-Channel DDR3 kingston) my computer works fine again. I suspect it's the CPU thats the problem, but i dont know much of this PC world tbh. Please help :3

CPU: Intel Core i7 2600
Motherboard: GA-Z68AP-D3
PSU: Seasonic SS-500ET F3

OK
Make sure there isnt some crap in the memory slot cause a short circuit, make sure its clean.

Read the motherboard manual, find which slot it wants 1 stick of ram in. Make sure you have been using the proper slots for 2 sticks. Understand how it wants memory installed.

Put just 1 stick in, see if it gets to the bios, confirm it recognizes the stick (speed/type/size)

If it boots, shut down, swap sticks, see if it gets to the bios, confirm it recognizes the stick (speed/type/size)

That should tell you if 1 stick is bad.

If it boots fine with both then they are ok. Then you need to see if you have a bad slot. See if you can use an alternate 2nd slot for the 2nd stick.

According to http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4015#sp
and http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3897#sp, you have to correct ram types.

Double check the BIOS settings, it may have something saved from the old memory, and not want to play nice with the new stuff.

Now you need to look at the slots.
If it works fine with each stick, then check to see

Can you even access bios? (disconnect boot drive) If you cannot, check your mobo manual, and see if you can reset the CMOS without removing the battery. (Consult CMOS experts before resorting to that). Resetting the CMOS per instructions should effectively clear any memory settings, if this did not occur during the BIOS updates.

My only other thought is that the new RAM must be causing the new GPU to refuse to play nicely, or a similar effect is happening with a different component. Keep in mind that the CPU has as direct a connection to the RAM as possible for speed reasons.

A few possible/probables here, the Fury runs off PnP (it sets itself up rather than needing to use XMP) and good chance they never set PnP up on the mobos chipset (the Z68 never got the attention to the BIOSs that they really needed as it was so short lived. Another possible is a weak MC (memory controller) in your CPU, the 2600 is only rated for 1333 DRAM

I tried resetting my cmos and now i can't even get into my desktop running my old RAM.. As Soon as it begins loading Windows i get a blue screen for 1/2 a seconds and then it reboots.. Could it be because my CPU cant run 1866 MHz? Before this happened i tried change The system memory multiplier (SPD) from auto to 13.33 and suddenly i could get my computer to boot with both my new ram but then this Blue screen turned up as Well... I tried reinstalling Windows but during one of its restarts it just turned into blue screen too.. Is my pc lost or is there still hope? (I could see the bios Register the two new ram btw)
