Asus R9 390 STRIX led light supposed to work or not ?

Hello everyone.

I just got my ASUS R9 390 STRIX after my GTX 680 died. While reasearching the card i was lead to bealive that there is a red LED light with the STRIX logo that lights up when the card works, but on my own the STRIX logo does not light up.

Now i dont really care about the LED really but i want to know if its supposed to light up or not, it might be a defect or something?

Hi I just bought this card and my 2 power connection leds light up white. The Strik led on the side does light up. It goes on and off , depending on load, it appears to me.

yes is suppose to work, I have two of them crossfire, the light off is a defect, but let me tell when they slow blink is even worth, I agreed with you, I do not care about the light, but, but better off then blink, tried to find a way to make it steady or off no LUCK, overall the best card for the money!!!, nothing to do with the load just steady and slowly breathing!
