Hey guys I usually solve my problems alone but now im really puzzled. I buit my system yesterday all seems to be runing okay but! My FPS on every single game are HORRIBLE (Taking out Minecraft somehow I get 140FPS) I looked online for the AMD 6970 benchmark and I should apparently get more than 40FPS on the bench, (Giving my cpu is a 6600k overclocked to 4.5GHZ) http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-7870-review-benchmark,3148-5.html

on my system I scored an umbelivable score of 6.7 FPS having minimum as 4.9 and max 11.5 I checked the temperatures to check if something is hot and well my gpu never goes over 50 I have a well ventilated case the cpu is around 50 degres on torture test with the overclook and around 30 without so I really did good with my cooling.

I aswell have a 144hz monitor if I use the 144hz mode than its even worse...

Any help would be awsome thanks.

Edit: Forgot to say but I am on windows 10 64 bit. I checked the Bus interface to be sure im on pcie x16 seems all correct

I built my system not to long ago and it has a recycled 6970 in it. I am replacing it with a 980Ti very shortly.
There is a reason I am replacing my 6970, it just doesn't have what it takes to run a lot of the modern games.
You are also asking the card to update the screen 144 times a second, it's going to struggle.
I looked at the test systems. Both systems are hyperthreaded which may give a performance boost to the FPS.

Check load CPU\GPU in load and no load. Maybe some soft load your PC and slow him.

If all right, try reinstall OS and install new and old drivers.
