After browsing around for AMD CPUs, I found the AMD FX-9590. After question-asking and browsing around on the forum, I found that it is hellishly unstable without proper cooling and power. How would the FX-9370 play out in terms of stability?

Solution
Avoid both of the 220w FX beasts. You can very easily overclock a 125w FX8350 to match the performance of the 9370 and it would consume less power.

Energy cost of 9000 series cpus is around 53 $/year on average :/ 9370 is slightly more stable but don't buy either of them, like cturbo said if you want to go the amd route go 8350 with a good overclocking board, good cpu cooling, and increase the voltage

My 9370 idles at ~10℃, and under heavy load in the most intensive games I own (GTA V, BF4, The Witcher 3- you name it)my temperatures barely shove above 30℃, even if I really push it in 3DMARK.

cpu temps are not a trustworthy indicator that everything is running as it should be. I work with a guy that was bragging about his cpu temps at idle and at load with his FX8350. I showed him that his temps were always awesome because his garbage 780 series motherboard was keeping his cpu throttled most of the time. he was too ignorant to realize how crappy his performance was. It was "normal" to him so he wasn't complaining.
