http://pcpartpicker.com/p/t3mHwP is the link to the Part Picket - I'm not dead lock sold on any part of it, and welcome suggestions, but I have some specific questions:

I primarily hard-core game/Stream and video edit. I am a programmer for work, so I sometimes need to heavy compile/SDL but I usually use my other build for that. That being said - I'm undecided on the 6700K of the 5820K[Forgive me if my number is off - Whichever is the new 6 core]. I'm wondering for input - The rule of thumb I've seen say for gaming, 6700K (Since a lot of games don't make use of hyperthreading) and for OCing go for 6700K due to ease, but 6-core has higher headroom to push the OC. Welcome insight/opinions. [I will be sticking the i7, no matter what.]

The video card, I settled on STRIX over the EVGA OC+ just due to higher base clocks, but the EVGA has 'more' reviews, not really better so torn and welcome input.

The motherboard seemed solid - Just in case in the future I decide to go with 3-way SLI. Maybe when drivers support it better.

RAM - I've been thinking about going lower in frequency just due to options but I also would like to stay somewhere near the upper limit of my mobo.

For the CPU Cooler: Those who use it, how do you set up the fans on it? One pull, one push? Both push? Why?

Thanks for any input, and I welcome any insight. I've built many rigs, but also like other peoples views.

Solution
If you need the extra pcie Lanes, the 5930k is the one you want. I only recommend it for 3 or more video cards. If the Motherboard can't support the ram speeds of the ram card, it will get reduce slightly.
5820k is the better processor because of 2 extra cores and 15 mb of level 3 cache. Strix and evga cards are relatively even. Take your pick. Cpu cooler should be setup with one fan as push and the other as pull for optimal results. I wouldn't get rm power supply since it has poor capacitors.

Thanks for the detailed reply - I didn't know about the capacitors. I've been a huge modular Corsair fan for awhile.

I notice the 5820s base clock is very low, is that relative for gaming? I know some games have hyperthreading issues (I usually force it to use more cores to get by).

I'm not an idiot, so I'll likely look into OCing it also.

I noticed the Mobo can't support 3400 RAM - Should I downgrade to lower frequency RAM?

I'm looking at some of my other 2011 Mobo options (I'm guessing 2011-v3 is what it is?)

Do you recommend going for the 5930K Instead? I don't mind the slight price increase, because looking at Bus speeds (and from what I understand) with SLI the second card will only be x8, and with a third it'll end up being x8/x8/x8 (Or will it be x16/x8/x4? I know the PCI 3.0 can't function at x4)
