Mobo + GPU compatible

I need to know if my motherboard is compatible with my graphics card and if there are any issues I would like to know I have been having trouble with my gpu lately however that is on a different thread.

My motherboard: Intel DQ67SWB3 with a i5-2500 processor

My gpu: Gigabyte R9 380x 4gb

I also have 16 gb of DDR3 ram a 500w power supply and 1 tb hard drive any info on compatibility would be much appreciated

I appreciate your input, I'm putting my GPU in a friends computer to see if I can get a display (Which was the issue) and If I do it looks like ill be upgrading a motherboard and processor soon. If not then gigabyte owes me a new card

One more question, I searched intel's site and found the latest driver update however Windows 10 is not listed in the OS's next to the driver info... Is it safe to download a driver from lets say windows 8?
