How do I set up my old router as a repeater wirelessly

I'm using a D-Link DWR-116 router but it's signal doesn't reach on all areas of my home. I also have an old Asus RT-N10E which probably supports being used as a repeater. So how do I accomplish this without connecting those two routers by an ethernet cable?

most time in both units you have to set up there mac info. on the asus router you have to putthe mac info of the new unit under setting the unit up as a repeater.
