using two different clock speed rams

i have one 2gb ddr3 irvine stick with 667MHz and i am thinking about buying a kingston HyperX Fury 8gb ddr3 ,1866Mhz ram....so can i use both or remove the irvine RAM .........what will be the consequences if i use both????

To get the best performance, remove the Irvine RAM as your system will down clock and run the RAM at the speed of the slowest stick for stability.
