Looking for a liquid cooler

Solution
If it's just a light OC look for an air cooler, however if you've decided on a higher OC or a liquid cooler Corsair seems a safe bet due to good warranty policy, the 240mm and 280mm's are what you want as they vastly out perform the 140/120mm ones and most cases can hold 240/280mm radiators now anyway. The H110 is fine, but there's newer models now, like the H100i GTX and H110i GTX which might be a bit better and not much more expensive, so I'd say those are safe bets before you go into custom loops.

Stick to air if you plan on light OC's as there's some really good air coolers for half the price of liquid coolers and they're not far off in terms of temps and can be quieter. Additionally, it's worth getting 2 PWM static pressure...

Additionally, it's worth getting 2 PWM static pressure silence optimised fans if you're going to buy a liquid cooler as most of them have noisy stock fans. My H105 did and I put some Noctua NF-F12's on it and it's now much quieter and slightly cooler.
