Toshiba satellite c660d-14e processor

Hi there,
Can anyone with knowledge can give advice on what is the best processor for
toshiba satellite c660d-14e laptop.

I know its a bit old for very latest laptops but i dont want to part with it.

Is there something with more than 2 cores, higher Ghz and better speed but compatable with this laptop.

Currently it have amd e-240 apu. Ram will be upgraded from 2Gb to 8Gb too

E2-1800 and E2-2000 (both dual cores) are compatible with the BGA413 you have (technically). But you better ask customer support of Toshiba if the CPU can be replaced or not as often cases, the CPU is soldered to the mainboard. Tough luck in that case. If not, try asking support if a BIOS upgrade would be required before buying the new CPU.
