my pc's motherboard is msi G41M-p26 , can i use a 1600mhz ram in it ? my windows is 8 and its 64 bit.....please help me...

I use a 3ghz dual core processor and the motherboard is msi g41m-p26....will you please help me , can i use a 1600mhz ram in it ?

If the DRAM is compatible - i.e. the G41 chipset is older and uses low density DRAM chips, something like the NT series of value DRAM from GSkill will run, most all DRAM (DDR3) available today uses high density ICs that aren't compatible
