Hello,
I have a pre-planned Wiring setup I'm gonna be doing on a future move to a new house.
I drew a rough diagram with current set, and future setup. All wires from modem to switches will be in walls to seperate rooms.Diagram below.

The goal I'm trying to achieve is to allow the Server PC to allow all pc's access to it through network.I'm planning to go with 2, 5 port switches vs 1 8 port main room.I rather have 4 wires go in wall and out vs 8 wires.I'm pretty sure that with the future plan drawn that all pc's will have access to server pc through other switches. I'm just not sure and I could'nt find anyone with this question. There is an additional port on modem that will prob go to a different room possible switch as well not sure.

Your future setup looks good to me. Many people homerun all their cables to go into a central switch. This makes it easier to troubleshoot (as well as upgrade). But then you have a bunch of wires coming in and you have to try to guess how many drops you will need in each room for expansion. The design in my house is very similar to yours, except I have 6 switches total.

Ok as long as the server pc can share with another switch were good. Were looking to buy a 4 bedroom house 3 bedrooms i know will need runs.4th one my sister will have. I believe she will stick with wireless since she dont use much. Shouldnt need additional expansion if do I will have 1 more run from modem if comes to it. I have saw in homes what you mention about a central unit that usually is in a closet.
