Graphics Card multiple monitor setup question

So my overall question is. Will my Main monitor only work off of the integrated graphics on the CPU when its plugged into the motherboard or will it work off of the GPU just the same as iff it was plugged into it directly?

Ive been running multiple monitors for over 10 years but ive always been on AMD and this has never been an issue before. But i recently switched to a Intel 6th Gen i7 and its not as as functional.

Basically.. I run 2 monitors on my desk and run my TV as a third monitor To which i play movies and tv shows in 4k Using Kodi

Before the switch to intel... I had my 2 Monitors hooked up to the video card and my TV hooked up to the Motherboard. I assumed that the TV would run off of the integrated and the Monitors would run off of the Graphics card i didnt know for sure but if i was right.. than my setup would be right for that anyway so i just left it.

But after the switch there was a problem with the intel processor not holding onto HDMI audio devices when its not priority in the boot list or it was not active. Thus causing me to have to manually reconfigure everything using the TV's HDMI audio output every time i restart my computer or turned off my tv because those programs defaulted to other audio devices when the TV's audio device wasnt present.

My only fix for this was to plug my tv into my graphics card and plug my monitor into the MOBO.

This works.. the only think is that my bios and splash screen all show up on the TV when i reset my PC but thats a minor annoyance. but i feel like my graphics are not working at full potential.

As far as I was aware, installing a dedicated GPU card disables the ability to use the on-board cpu/gfx. You can switch between the two via BIOS options but I've never saw a BIOS screen giving the option to have BOTH the onboard GPU and the card GPU enabled simultaneously.

If you could point me to an example it would make for interesting reading.

there was an option in the bios I forgot to respond to this. It was PEG and IGD . when you install a graphics card on a computer that has an integrated video card in the processor then your mobo could turn it off.

so I set my TV and my Main gaming monitor into the Graphics card and then plugged my second monitor into the mobo since it didn't need amazing graphics.

I then went to the bios and ENABLED IGD... it has an option to allocate memory to it that defaulted to 64M and I'm assuming that's MB of ram to devote to that monitor.. which I never changed and never had any issues with performance.
