Hi!,
I'm planning to delid my 4790k using a delid tool coming in the mail. My question as a delid noob is: What TIM should I put on the CPU die?
I plan to place the IHS back on after applying (can't get into direct to die cooling) but I didn't want to use Gelid or something like that. Is the liquid metal stuff good to use on the die or could that cause problems? What liquid metal TIM works best?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
