I have a Msi Radeon r9 390 8GB video card, as of recently my display cuts off randomly and the gpu fans run at max speed (100%)

-I have the newest drivers.
-My idle temps are between 45C-60C which seems to be normal compared to other people's 390's (My issues occurs while not under load and while under load)
-I built my PC about a week ago and I haven't had problems until yesterday. Now it happens several times a day.

All displays cut off that are plugged into the graphics card, but the monitor plugged into the integrated gpu works for a few moments longer, before it freezes and nothing is usable. Nothing happens after that, I have to hold the power button down for it to cut off. When I reboot, everything goes as normal until it happens again.

Also I should note, this happens even when I disable all monitors that are plugged into the gpu and only used monitor plugged into the integrated gpu.

My PC build includes:

OS: Windows 10
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor

RAM: Mushkin ECO2 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
GPU: MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB Video Card

When you say your display cuts off what else happens? Your PC shuts down?

Does the display come back on by itself? Do you have to intervene? hard or soft reset/reboot?

Need more information.

What do you mean by display adapter crash?
The display doesnt come back on until I cut off the computer by holding the power button and then cutting it back on.

I have 4, but I use the interchangeably, I only ever really have two being used at once.
It crashes even when I have only 1 monitor being used.
I only had two on so one could monitor the temps at all times while I was doing other things.
The monitor I used to monitor temps is VGA only. Its from my old PC from like 8 years ago. I plugged it into the VGA port on my motherboard, it just so happens that the integrated gpu doesn't cut out. Just the dedicated GPU.

I just opened up my case and reseated the GPU, My Idle temperatures are maintaining a much lower temprature now of 47C-48C. I Think it may have helped, but I don't know if that was the issue or not.
