i7 3770K w/ 980ti or Fury X ~ Any bottlenecks?

Either would be fine with that CPU.
Remember the Fury X requires a 120mm slot for its water cooling solution. That is one of the reason I went with a 980Ti, because I wanted the performance but did not feel like having another CLC in my case.
