Hello there. Nice to see you came aroud here. You probably read the title already, so let's get into it.

I have been looking for a 1200€ gaming rig with these three main goals in mind:

Gaming performance
Upgradeability
Portability

Between these requirements, i've found some solutions.

The first one is i could get a gaming laptop for example: Lenovo 17,3" Ideapad Y700, but the upgradeability is a bit of an issue. After a few years i would probably have to get a new laptop. Of course there are a couple of laptops with a GPU -dock, but these are only meant for specific laptops. Luckily, there are more in developement that would fit into many computers. Should i wait for it?

Second is that i'd get a Asus ROG G20CB desktop gaming pc for 1000€ it has an Core i5-6400 Skylake 2,7Ghz, GTX 950 2GB, 8G RAM and a 1TB SATA 7200rpm HDD. It's light and slim, easily portable, quite powerful and has almost desktop grade upgradeability. (And it is also sexy as hell) The only drawback with this pc for me is that it has a 180W + 230W DC power supplys. So the upgradeability is limited by the power output. And also a Monitor would be quite tricky to move.

Third would be that i'd get or build a gaming pc in a small case. But there aren't many cases with such small spaces. And if i built a pc myself i'd prefer a dual GPU setup myself. I could buy a luggage for the computer and have everything else on my backpack. But i haven't found backpacks big enough for a monitor around size of 19-24".

So here are the problems i have with the decision of a gaming rig. I'm hoping that some people could help me out with this problem. I'm not in a hurry so just tell me what you have in mind and i'll gladly read the solutions i get.

Thank you

(Note that i already have a mouse and headphones, so i don't need a new mouse or a new pair of headphones)

Sorry, didn't read that you required a monitor. I'll try to fix it:

I live in Finland and i've been looking from german online shops too. Those both look very interesting. Better than i could have imagined.

But keep in mind that i meant 1200€, not 1200£ witch equals to 1566€

And by far you are both on the opinion that building a pc is the best solution? I guess it is the most efficient way after all.

I know, but it does not include either a monitor or keyboard. As i told, i'm changing from a laptop to a desktop, so i don't have any extra monitors or keyboards. If you could give me a setup with those too, i would be very pleased.
