My newly installed 16GB (8x2) of 2133MHz RAM is not able to run at the advertised speeds without causing a boot failure and the "Overclock Failed" message. I used XMP profile to set the speed and voltage how it should be. When the boot failure happens, the BIOS resets the RAM to 1333MHz, and then the computer is able to boot just fine. I tried reseting the BIOS and only changing the XMP profile and the computer would still have "overclocking failures" with those settings.

I don't know what else to try. How can I make my RAM run at 2133MHz without problems?

My BIOS is up to date.
Relevant Computer Specs:
CPU: Intel i5 2500k
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 (rev. 1.3)
RAM: G.SKILL Sniper 16GB (2x8) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Model F3-2133C10D-16GSR

Solution
Yep, will prob need an OC on the CPU, the 2500K is native to 1333, try it at 4 GHz then enable XMP (also make sure you have the latest BIOS) :)
