So here is my budget, but yet gaming pc:

MSI 970a-g43
FX 4300
Gigabyte HD 7870
VS 550
etc.

Now, here is the thing,

I went to the store today and picked up 3 case fans and installed them in order of 2 intakes (one from the front, the other from the side) and 1 exhaust. I got deepcool gamma archer pro. And here my friends are my temperatures after 2 - 3 hours of gaming on high load.

As you can see FX 4300 is at constant 69-70 and system temperature about 35. Should i be worried at all or not? because I Saw that FX 4300 max temp should be 60.

Thanks guys.

Solution
Max temp for Fx is 70 socket / 63 core. Use AMDOverdrive for accurate thermal margins. Try reapplying thermal paste and do so correctly. Google "the pea method" in applying thermal paste.

Don't know honestly. Wasn't stock for sure, I bought it separately. But what do you think about 70c ? Right now after a full hour Dota 2 match on everything high it got to max 71. Is it really that bad?

Thank you very much, you helped a lot. Can you please go through my screens real quick and say if everything is ok, because according to you I seem to be fine.

As you can see my socket got to max 67 and cpus to average 14.64. Am I doing it correctly? I think I am ok right? I just wonder how cores can have so low temp while socket is 66. :(

And one more strange thing. Before starting stress, my cores are showing 50-58 temps, but as soon as I load the cpu they drop down immediately. Whats with that?

Thank you.

Don't worry about hwmonitor's max temp value. Look at the current temp. Keep using AOD thermal margins. The margins are a count down to overheating. 50c = 50 degrees til overheating. 0c = thermal limit. Negative 5c = 5c over Max temp.

You really helped me a lot, as i was reading all that staff online and everybody were saying that cpu is too hot. Will continue using AOD margins. The last question and that's it. in AOD margins it says that tmpin0 is 66. That mean i have 66 degree to go till overheating the socket right? tmpin0 is a socket as i know.

Ok I figured out. in AOD termal margin actually works with cores only as i figured out. TMPINs shows the actual temperatures not margins. So to conclude, im fine as long as cores margin reach 0 and tpins reach 70. Am I right?
