Can anyone tell me if this G. Skill RAM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231314 will work with this MOBO http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121362 ?

I am currently running the MOBO with 2 of these Corsair DIMMS: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145220 but I'd like to increase the total RAM. Assuming the 2 G. Skill 4 gig DIMMs will run on this board, any chance I could run BOTH the 2 G. Skills AND the 2 Corsars, for a total of 12 gig?

Any thoughts/input appreciated!

Your motherboard only supports up to DDR3-1333 RAM. The G. Skill RAM you selected is DDR3-1600, so the two will not work together. Also, keep in mind, that when adding to your amount of RAM, it is best to use the same brand and model of RAM to avoid any compatibility issues.

Hey There @TriDee

Your Motherboard's max memory speed is 1333, but your RAM runs on (min) 1600, which means it is too powerful for your motherboard, resulting in hardware failures. You got the connection right, DDR3, but the speed is too distant.

Here is a pair of compatible RAM Sticks: http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-10666cl9q-8gbrl
I made sure it was (2x4) 8GB For you and made sure it was Ripjaws aswell :)

The speed downgrade of about 277Mhz just means that is will be very SLIGHTLY Slower than your original selected one so don't worry about too much.

Also, I don't recommend running two different brands of memory, just incase anything happens. But you should just buy either 2x8GB Sticks or 2 (2x4) Sticks, becuase the maximum memory compatibility for your motherboard is 16GB.
