Hello everyone, recently I have had strange issues with my computer. The other week my drivers started to crash and the computer would freeze requiring a hard restart. In that time I installed the most up to date driver for my GTX 770 which seemed to be fine for about a day. The next day on start up for the first maybe 10 minutes of playing a game the driver crashed again and the computer began to stutter. After about 30 mins the stuttering went away and it was fine, I probably played for another 6 hours with no problem. The next day again the driver crashed for the for 10 minutes of playing a game and began to stutter then the computer crashed. In light of this I upgraded from windows 7 to 10 and reformatted my computer. Since I have done that the driver still seems to be crashing not once but now about two times in the first 30 minutes of playing games. but the computer seems to run fine all day after that. I am worried if I keep using it I will create more problems can anyone help!

Although it may be a driver issue so have you eliminated this by rolling back to an older driver? Installing the most up to date driver DOES NOT mean that it will be better for your system. The older the tech especially nvidia cards the more the problems with newer drivers. Simply because these newer drivers are really designed for the more latest models of cards. Yours was in May 2013. The newest driver 361.25 supports a massive range of nvvidia tech. Most of it is irrelevant for older tech cards due to the bloat.
My advice is to get an older driver.
It could be also be a PSU issue.
