Hello friends,
i decided it was time to upgrade my pc and it seems my dimm slots 3 and 4 are not working? pc runs fine when ram inserted into slots 1 and 2 but when i insert an additional stick to slot 3 the pc starts but it doesnt run it just stays black. when i then insert a stick on slot 4 it automatically restarts after 2 seconds of boot. im not a computer savvy guy so i was wondering if you guys can help me out and sorry if its a stupid question xD. the following are my specs:
intel core i5-4690k @3.50 ghz
MSI Z97A GAMING 6 ATX Motherboard
msi gtx 980 ti
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400
