So, I have been in the process of upgrading my IBUYPOWER SBX (MODEL: IBP-SBX-A500-B). I have already put in a:
- Kingston HyperX Savage 8GB 2133MHz DDR3 single ram card
- AMD Athlon X4 860K Black Edition CPU Quad Core FM2+ 3700Mhz 95W 4MB processor
The SBX currently runs most of my game very well, however one game in particular, ARMA 3, is running at 15 to 25 frames per second and i would personally like it to run at least twice those speeds. Without purchasing a completely new PC, I believe the best way to achieve this is with a graphics card upgrade (correct me if I am wrong, i am still kinda learning about PC hardware).
My current issue is that I am having a hard time locating the exact model of my graphics card. I know that it is a AMD Radeon R7 250x 1 GB GDDR3 from PowerColor, but I have no luck whenever I compare the photo's from my current card to the ones I see online. The SBX is a very compact computer, and without knowing the dimensions of my card, and which card to upgrade to that would have the same external port configuration, I don't want to risk purchasing a new graphics card that won't fit.
This is a link that shows the current graphics card i have installed with its external port configuration: http://o.aolcdn.com/hss/storage/midas/b2d55388357843a078214dacb0fc5c71/201117368/PA290262.jpg
This is a link that shows the overall computer specifications: http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/969557/iBUYPOWER-SBX-IBP-SBX-A500-B/?cm_mmc=PLA-_-Google-_-Computers_Tablets-_-969557-VQ6-47886824636-VQ16-c-VQ17-pla-VQ18-online-VQ19-969557-VQ20-71569017476-VQ21-&gclid=Cj0KEQiAisy1BRD7_YSgpduD2cEBEiQAPR3UuGH6EScX7hT1cbUlg7xZm8oYvUYmE1o3-02V9qOEEf4aAtVH8P8HAQ
I would really appreciate any advise I can get, even if it is to just start over from scratch.
