So im planning on upgrading my gaming pc.
Currently running:
I5 750 @ 4,2GHz
ASUS P7P55D
HyperX FURY 8gb DDR3
Sapphire hd 7950 1050MHz
Antec 500W
As im planing on buying used parts, im thinking what path should i take.
6600K (used) with MB Z170 S1151 ATX/Z170-GAMING K3 V1.0 GIGABYTE (new)
4690K (used)with Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO Z97 (used)
Price is going to be almost the same around 300 EUR around 335$ on current exchange rate.
If id go for 6600k there is nice pair of DDR4 RAMs for 90 euros (new)
If id go for 4690k id stick with my RAMs or add one more stick of 8GB for 30EUR
My Wattercooling AIO DeepCool 240 would go to new build aswell as GPU, atleast for a while
already on the way there is EVGA 750W power suply, which is more like esthetic update since its partly modular and black (blends in with build)
So the BIG QUESTION is: is it worth it to go for 6600k or instead save that 100eur (for the rams) and have a head start saving for, lets say gtx 970. When ill finish my build ill totaly going to go for something newier like gtx 970 in the future, only it will take more time.
