Program won't run on Laptop, Win10 or win7

There is a simple C IDE called Quincy.I have installed it on four PCs: a Win Vista laptop, Win 10 desktop. Runs fine from a flash drive too. I am also able to run it from the flash attached to ( 2 ) Win 7 desktops. I am able to compile and link and run on all 4. I can also compile and link under Win 10 on a laptop but the executable hangs: console window with no hello world test case message. Reinstalled it more than once on the Win 10 laptop.Strange it does not run on the Win 10 laptop. Ran AVAST no problems. Cleaned off files too.

I'm thinking it might be a compatibility issue. Right click and go into the properties of the executable, should be an option there to run it as a previous OS version. Try that, maybe it will work.
