My system specs are :
core i3 2120 3.30ghz processor
8 gb Ram
ASUS P8B75-V mobo

i am stuck between zotac gtx 970 4 gb and r9 380 4 gb.Which gpu should i use without bottlenecking my system ? Which should be the best bang for the bucks ? Also will it be futureproof for atleast 2 years or so ?
Help !

Solution
If you got the money for gtx 970,then no comparison, it's simply better than r9 380, your CPU is quite weak for it but bottleneck would be so little.

Most AAA games will need lowering down some settings in order to achieve 60 FPS with r9 380, with all ultra it can provide 45+ frames, whereas gtx 970 will give 60+ frames in most games at ultra settings 1080p, it's also the best bang for the buck if you ask me, overclocking a gpu is quite easy you can overclock it and it'll perform about same as a GTX 980 which costs way more.

R9 380 can do, but you got money for GTX 970, then surely the gtx 970 is the good choice.

One more thing, if you are in no hurry ,might wait for pascal and see what it's got.

r9 380 or 390? if it is the 380 then i would definitely go for the 970. if its the 390 you are talking about then it depends on your PSU and which ever one is least expensive where you live.

i am talking about r9 380.I have a the money to purchase a gtx 970 but my processor would certainly bottleneck it.So instead i planned to buy r9 380 4 gb since it makes a good pair with my pc.Also gtx 970 is costlier than r9 380 . What is the use of buying it when i cant use the extra juice in it ? What is your suggestion ?

What's the resolution of your monitor? If it's 1080p or less, then get the GTX 970. I've used one and it's seriously amazing.
