Broken motherboard pins!! Able to replace them with soldering

Hi
I broke 7ish (like they are half snapped the tip of its gone the golden bit) mobo pins and i have 2 64 athlons laying around so if i take those pins off the cpu and solder them on the mobo any chance of the mobo to work

if you have nothing to loose, why not try. but i personally wouldn't.

Are the mobo pins just metal. If they are then therorestcally it should work
