Hey guys,
I just purchased the EVGA reference 980ti SC. While playing games it runs at 84C and thermal throttles. I create a fan curve to keep it in the low 70s and the fan is insanely loud. With the computer being in a dorm room I need the computer pretty quiet.
Looking into returning it to get a water cooled 980ti. Looks like the most popular card is the EVGA Hybrid but the card isn't the best looking in my opinion. Seems like a lot of people don't like the look of the Gigabyte Waterforce, but I like the industrial look of it.
I was just wondering if any of you have any of these cards and your opinion of them. It seems like they are very similar. Which one is better for overclocking? Which one is quieter? Thanks guys.
