If it's windows 8 you won't find a sticker with the key on it.

You can't use it elsewhere, and you can create a Factory reinstall directly from the (hopefully existing) Factory Reset partition.

It's handy to have if you want revert back to Windows 8 but from 10 but the time has expired. By using the original Windows key and downloading the official Microsoft Windows ISO problem solved
