I'm trying to work out a new PC build for 3D and video rendering (After Effects and 3DS Max/CAD).
I'm not in to gaming.
So here is the question:
Say you had two builds with 4 GTX 980s 32GB RAM 1TB SSD but one has an Intel Core i7-6700K and the other with a Intel Xeon E5-2695v3 and of course compatible motherboards for each processor, would rendering process on the GPU and therefore the Intel Xeon E5-2695v3 isn't making much difference compared with the i7-6700K or would it still take advantage of the E5-2695v3?
