Hello,

I'm currently building a new rig, and I've finalized the part list except for the Memory
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/6rKtjX
I'm trying to stick to the QVL (Which I believe for this mobo is http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA2011/SABERTOOTH-X99/SABERTOOTH_X99_DRAM_QVL_20150108.pdf please correct me if I'm wrong)

And I'm having a major issue matching serials.

I'm assuming the last group of digits (32XXX) is showing the size in numbers, then a three digit code for the color make?

I'm trying to stick to 32-64GB. I do a lot of SQL/DB modifications so 16GB isn't enough, and I would obviously like to be in the higher end but I can't find any group of memory on the QVL to hit 64GB, so 32GB should be fine. I can make do.

I would welcome any suggestions - Please confirm if my RAM is fine[ Also, is there a red alternative? The blue looks good but is going to stick out like a sore thumb. Not a make-it or break-it deal. ]

Also, I'm going to order http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NAENYEM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=ANNSJU9W28Y9J (RAM Cooler). Overkill, or not? I will be OCing the CPU/GPU but doubt the RAM [Outside of the natural OCing].

I'm not G.Skill bias, it's just always been the best when it's time for me to build, so I tend to go for them.

Thanks ahead of time! (I already did e-mail G.Skill for assistance, but they haven't replied yet and hoping to place order by end of day)

Also welcome any other build suggestions.

Yes, the RAM cooler is overkill and should be fine with any of their RipJaws 4 sets, those are designed for X99, keep in mind 2800 and above may require a slight OC of the CPU to run to full spec, depending on your individual 5930K.
