Linux Mate 17.2.. Wireless issues. I cannot use a cable.

I have Mate running on a good sized SSD and Windows 7 off a bigger ssd(gaming). No problems booting or shutting down, super fast. But I have no drivers for netgear's WNA3100 or my realtek card. How can I install them from a usb? No internet means no updating obviously, so I need to bring them over.

Sorry, my bad, yes it's Mint. Wireless worked during installation, doesn't work now. It doesn't even show up in the driver manager.

Can you use a wired connection long enough to download and install the drivers?

Thanks I will wire it and run the terminal. I get tired of my parents complaining. I wish I had a CAT6 wall jack, a man can dream.

You will learn to like apt-get install. There are other ways to install software but for drivers the terminal is best. I've been using Linux Mint for 2.5 years now.
Once you get 17.2 running correctly and fully updated you can update to 17.3.
