OK. In Canadian currency I need to buy a new CPU,ram, motherboard and a power supply. Looking to spend $300-$400. this computer will be strictly a work computer.this will replace a AMD tricore amd build that stopped working so i would like it faster or comparable to my last system.
So I'm guessing a amd build due to their cheaper prices and probably my websites to buy is newegg.ca and Amazon.ca I don't know any other sites for Canada.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Ok, then grab something like an A6 or A8. These are either Dual-core or Quad core with an integrated GPU. You probably could get away with a Core i5 6400 or i3 6100, since they also have integrated GPUs, but tend to be more expensive.

You can leave out the GT 610 if you are only doing browsing, but if you're photo-editing or something similar, keep the GT610. And, this will be better than a FX 6300.
And for an APU like Twisted Fury's build, get something like 2133Mhz or 2400Mhz RAM because APUs like faster ram.
