So basically i spilled water over my computer tower (the top of it), and i dont have a "side wall" for the computer. However i turned the computer to the side and turned it off asap and let it run off, not hitting any hardware. I checked a moment later and saw that not a single water dropplet had touched the gpu, fans, motherboard, psu, cpu etc.. However it had hit one part, one of the harddrives, however it was only like a single drop that had hit one of the cables that goes into the hdd. I tried to boot the computer a few moments later, the motherboard etc seems fine since i can still access the bios. However it says "disk read error" when i try to boot it. I unplugged that harddrive and tried to boot on my other hdd, it worked. But i dont have windows on it..

Is my hdd RIP? Or can it be saved?
Also i dont have rice at home.. :((((((

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I would just check to make sure that you can fully power the system off and restart it without the issue coming back.
